Stemming from prolific circles of Poland`s Lower Silesian independent scene, Krzysztof

Tokar Tokarczyk has been active figure since mid 2000s as organizer, curator and performing artist,

recognized as keen explorer of lesser known genres of improvised music, creative noise or new

branches of sound art. Inspired at the very beginnings by free jazz, be-pop and sonoristic

experiments of garage rock, he later pics up saxophone and decides to start musical education in the

field of jazz, continuing for a few years attending classes of local music school. Despite the early

formal background he has managed to retain very unorthodox approach to his instrument and

consequently crosses boundaries between tradition and fresh, emerging ideas. Currently based in

Lausanne / Switzerland, he has established himself as a skilled driving force of many artistic

undertakings in this area. His rough, organic saxophone sound informs of various musical and non-

musical influences: intuitive gestures, angular melodies, primordial noises, dada-punk excesses, absurdities of day-to-day existence.

2012 – now, organizing and curating concerts in Lausanne,Renens,Bern co-organizing Multiversal Swiss Edition 2018 2016, part of Ego Trip Tour (Balkans, Greece, Austria, Poland); improvisation, experimentation, free-noise and d.i.y. ideas combined in ever changing line-ups performing in numerous locations. Free lance played with difrent musician and constellations.

2016 - 2017 – 2018, cooperation with Multiversal team; a network, consisting of musicians, artists, performers and spaces around the globe.
